Refund Policy
Effective June 2026.
Sumhouse has a free 14-day trial with every feature enabled — no card required — precisely so you can be certain it works for you, with your bank's statements, before paying anything.
14-day refund window
If you purchase and something is still wrong, email support@sumhouse.app within 14 days of purchase with your order email or license key, and we'll refund you in full. We may ask what went wrong — to fix it, not to argue with you.
How refunds are issued
Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy (our merchant of record) back to your original payment method, normally within 5–10 business days. The associated license key is deactivated; your data remains on your Mac and remains viewable in the app.
After 14 days
Past the window, refunds are at our discretion — but if the app has a genuine defect on your machine, write in anyway. We'd rather fix it or make it right.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable consumer rights you have under the law of your country or state (for example, statutory rights for digital purchases in the EU/UK). This policy is offered in addition to those rights.
Chargebacks
If something's wrong, please email us first — we can almost always resolve it faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in your license being deactivated.
